After being detained by Amsterdam police, Nicki Minaj expressed her regret for postponing her England concert. The detainment, which came after she encountered legal issues for allegedly possessing drugs, led to a brief jail time and a fine of 350 Euros.
Despite the setback, Minaj connected with her fans at her hotel in Manchester, where she initially apologized for the cancellation and entire ordeal.

Nicki subsequently took to social media, where she detailed what transpired and further expressed her thoughts on the situation, as well as her plans moving forward.
Nicki wrote, “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.”
Accusing the Dutch police of attempting to sabotage her performance on Saturday, Minaj went on:
“That’s why they had to do the big song & dance b/c they knew I’d still find a way to perform even if it came down to my last 90 mins in the building which would have been until 11:30pm,” she explained. “The building was willing to go past 11pm. So grateful to them for that.”
Minaj also shared her intention to pursue legal action against the Amsterdam police, asserting she has ample video evidence to support her case.
“So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight. I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them & posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you,” Minaj wrote. “I’ll have the lawyers & GOD take it from here tho.”
Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.
