British electronic group Rudimental has dropped their latest single, “Vex,” featuring the dynamic talents of Birmingham rapper MIST and Jamaican dancehall sensation Popcaan. Produced by Skepsis, known for his electrifying and upbeat sounds, the track delivers an explosive blend of grime, dancehall, and bass-driven vibes, setting it up to be a dancefloor anthem.

Fans were first introduced to Vex during Rudimental‘s festival sets earlier this year, including Manchester’s Parklife and Snowfest Festival in Poland, where the group teased the track to rave reviews.

“Vex” continues the momentum of Rudimental’s recent singles, such as “The Feeling” featuring 1991, PNAU, and AR/CO, and “Gone For The Night,” which showcased a stellar lineup including Disrupta, Liam Bailey, and BackRoad Gee. Other highlights from their 2023 output include “Ram Pam” with Mystic Marley and Flowdan, as well as “Bring Me Joy” featuring Karen Harding.

The single also marks Rudimental’s latest partnership with Skepsis, following their February track “Green & Gold,” which featured Charlotte Plank, Riko Dan, and CP. Known for their innovative approach to music production, Rudimental and Skepsis continue to push creative boundaries in the UK electronic music scene.

Rudimental’s last studio album, Ground Control, released in 2021, cemented their place as one of the most versatile acts in electronic music. With “Vex,” the group reinforces their reputation for crafting infectious beats and bringing together global artists to create genre-blurring hits.
