K-Trap will release his long-awaited sophomore album, TRAPO II on August 21st, which follows the acclaimed 2021 TRAPO mixtape. The project revisits the raw, uncompromising energy of the original while serving as more than a sequel, functioning as a statement of intent designed to challenge expectations and push beyond assumptions about his artistry.

K-Trap framed the album’s purpose in clear terms: “K-Trap and TRAPO are the same but they’re kind of different in terms of how I feel. TRAPO is when I get in my bag. When I’m in that mode, I just go full steam ahead and I’m going for it. I wanted to recreate that feeling for myself.” The 2021 TRAPO silenced doubts about his artistic range and elevated his trajectory within UK rap. With TRAPO II, he enters a new chapter, determined to defy high expectations and reaffirm his unpredictability and ambition.
Beyond music, K-Trap has established himself as a businessman. In 2025, he launched Kasi, his own activewear line and has also invested in Nala’s Baby, a children’s skin and hair care line founded by Krept. Despite these ventures, his musical focus remains sharp, with TRAPO II representing a deliberate step back to reach a new artistic peak. The project signals his intent to achieve global acclaim, transcending the UK rap scene he helped shape.
We can’t wait!
