Megan Thee Stallion appears on the cover of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 latest issue, becoming the first black woman to do so.

According to Forbes, Meg earned an estimated $13 million in royalties, ticket sales, merch, and endorsements this year.
Speaking of what motivates her to work hard, Megan said:
“I can’t slow down right now. I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something. When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”
“It’s really hard to be the first something in 2022,” Meg went on. “I want to be bigger than just my music. I want people to know Megan as everything that she ever wanted to be. Megan the artist. I feel I’ve always liked to dabble and dab in a lot of different things, and I feel like I got that from my mom and my dad. My dad was a street guy, he was an entrepreneur, he had his own clothing line.
“My mother, I watched her go to work nine-to-five every day, and come home and write songs. And take me to the studio, and be a mom, and be just a good woman in general.”
Forbes reports that Meg has inked a $3 million contract with Times Inc. to “produce a documentary on her life,” as well as endorsement deals with the likes of Nike, Popeyes, Revlon, Cash App, and Netflix.
Meg also shared her aspirations to diversify her portfolio and not become “one-dimensional,” following her cameos in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and P-Valley. She’s also expected to appear in the A24 film, ‘Fucking Identical Twins.’
With her incredible success, it was surprising to discover that Meg had yet to make ‘stupid crazy purchases,’ as many celebrities do.
She explained, “My jewelry is expensive and my house was expensive, but like outside of that, I’m not buying 100 cars,”
Adding, “As soon as I started getting money, I spent it on school. Then when I got done paying for school, then that’s when I started buying chains and stuff like that. But you should learn about how to make your money work for you, I feel like that was important for me to share.”
