Justin Timberlake has sparked an uproar from disappointed fans after the singer-songwriter canceled the final show of his US tour in Columbus, Ohio, just 10 minutes before the performance was scheduled to begin. The decision follows his previous postponement in November, as a result of severe bronchitis and laryngitis.
Timberlake explained that he went into soundcheck battling the flu and, as his condition worsened, he made the heart-wrenching decision to cancel the show. In an emotional social media post, Timberlake expressed his deep disappointment at having to let down his fans, assuring everyone that full refunds would be issued for their tickets.
“You guys. I’m heartbroken,” Timberlake wrote on Instagram. “I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you, and my team worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you, you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”

However, the sudden cancellation has sparked significant frustration among fans, many of whom took to social media to vent their disappointment and question why the decision was left until the very last minute. Meanwhile, Timberlake‘s cancellation marks another setback for his world tour, which is in support of his recent album Everything I Thought It Was.
