The Weeknd has unleashed his highly anticipated album Hurry Up Tomorrow, marking the third and final chapter in his After Hours trilogy. Featuring an impressive lineup of collaborators, the album includes appearances from Lana Del Rey, Travis Scott, Future, Florence + the Machine, Giorgio Moroder, Playboi Carti, Anitta, and more.
The 22-track project includes standout songs like “Wake Me Up” (ft. Justice), “São Paulo” (ft. Anitta), “Reflections Laughing” (ft. Florence + The Machine & Travis Scott), “Enjoy The Show” (ft. Future), “Timeless” (ft. Playboi Carti), “The Abyss” (ft. Lana Del Rey), and the title track “Hurry Up Tomorrow.”
Expanding beyond music, Hurry Up Tomorrow is accompanied by a film of the same name, starring The Weeknd alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. Directed and co-written by Trey Edward Schults for Lionsgate, the movie is set to premiere in theatres on May 16th, 2025.
In a move of philanthropy, proceeds from the album’s track “Take Me Back To LA” will go toward the LA Regional Food Bank to aid those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Additionally, The Weeknd has donated $1 million to the LAFD Foundation, GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund, and the LA Regional Food Bank.
Fans have already gotten a taste of the album through The Weeknd’s live debut of “Open Hearts” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as previews of multiple tracks during his stadium show at Estádio Morumbi in São Paulo, which featured surprise appearances from Playboi Carti and Anitta.
As speculation grows about his future, The Weeknd has hinted that this album could mark the end of his persona as “The Weeknd.” In a symbolic gesture, Hurry Up Tomorrow closes with a transition into “High for This,” the first track from his debut mixtape House of Balloons—suggesting a full-circle moment in his career.
