Tyson Fury has signed a deal to fight Deontay Wilder for the third time. Fury would battle Wilder on July 24th after an arbitration court decided that Wilder should be Fury’s next opponent.
The court ruled that Deontay Wilder of the United States had a right to a third fight with Tyson Fury, and the American refused to take any money in exchange for the Fury-Joshua which was set to go down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later this year.
Originally, the WBC champion decided to face Anthony Joshua in a bout that would have put all four heavyweight belts on the table but the deal had to be put on hold following the judge’s ruling.
“He’s getting seriously smashed to bits,” Fury said, speaking to his team, I’ll give him another shoulder injury, another bicep injury, another leg injury.
Adding: “Wilder, this contract is signed. You’re getting smashed. When I say smashed, I mean smash, smash, smash, bang. You’re getting knocked out. End of. One round, you’re going. I’ve got your soul, your mojo, everything.”
The clash will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, which has a capacity of up to 65,000 people.
This will certainly be one for the history books and we can’t wait.
