Mr Eazi and King Promise have officially released their long-anticipated collaborative project, See What We’ve Done, via emPawa Africa. The nine-track body of work brings together two of the most distinct voices in contemporary Afrobeats, and the result is exactly what a collaboration between artists of this caliber should be, organic, unhurried, and rooted in genuine mutual respect.
Glad to announce the joint album with @IamKingPromise “See What We’ve Done” is out Now!! https://t.co/2VvePUGoS5

The album arrives with considerable momentum already behind it, as their previously released singles — “See What We’ve Done,” “Mariana,” and “That Way” — have collectively surpassed 26 million streams across digital platforms, signalling an audience that was ready and waiting. Meanwhile, the full project does not disappoint, either, opening with the introspective “Where Have You Been?” before moving through a tracklist that explores friendship, love, growth, and reflection with cohesion and intention.
A standout moment comes with “That Way,” a reimagining of the Backstreet Boys‘ “I Want It That Way” reframed through a contemporary African lens, a bold creative choice that pays off. “Mariana,” meanwhile, brings warmth and melodic richness that lingers.
Production across the album is handled by an elite roster including GuiltyBeatz, Killbeatz, JAE5, Gideonite, AOD, and Tudor Monroë, blending Afrobeats, pop, and melodic influences into a sound that feels both globally resonant and deeply rooted.
Mr Eazi reflected on what the project means to him: “See What We’ve Done is a celebration of friendship, growth, and gratitude. Having built distinct and successful careers, we came together from a genuine appreciation for each other’s craft. The result is a record that feels organic and unforced, shaped by honesty and mutual admiration.”
