Jorja Smith has unveiled the video for “Price Of It All,” a visually ambitious short film directed by KC Locke that sees the British singer step into the world of spies and assassins. Shot with red mood lighting, samurai sword sequences, and slow-motion gunfights, the video leans fully into classic action cinema aesthetics, a fitting visual companion to a track that clearly has scope to match.

The song is part of Inspired By, the 17-track official soundtrack for ‘Bait‘, a six-part comedy-drama now streaming on Prime Video. Executive produced by Zubin Irani of FAMM and Riz Ahmed, the album brings together 37 artists and draws from an eclectic mix of cinematic orchestration, 1970s Pakistani film music, and contemporary UK and South Asian sounds. The tracklist is a cultural statement in itself, featuring the likes of AJ Tracey, ENNY, CASISDEAD, Arooj Aftab, Talha Anjum, Natasha Noorani, and Riz Ahmed himself, among many others. A remix of “Price Of It All” featuring Amir Amor also appears on the project.

‘Bait‘ centres on Shah Latif, a British-Pakistani actor who auditions to play the next James Bond, setting off a chaotic four-day journey through family, fame, identity, and the pressures of public scrutiny. It is a premise that lends itself naturally to a soundtrack this layered, blending thriller energy with comedy, diaspora identity, and cultural pride.

The release also arrives at a meaningful personal moment for Jorja Smith. This year marks a decade since her debut single “Blue Lights” announced her as a singular talent in 2016. She is currently celebrating the milestone with special releases and live performances, including supporting Harry Styles on his Together, Together world tour and co-headlining All Points East in London’s Victoria Park alongside Tems this August.
