Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have welcomed the birth of their first child via surrogacy.
Taking to social media, Priyanka, 39, and Jonas, 29, shared the news, writing: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.
“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”

A number of celebrities, including musicians Joe and Kevin Jonas, who are now uncles, as well as actresses Awkwafina, Eiza Gonzalez, and Karen Gillian, welcomed the newborn on social media.

The ‘Quantico’ star had previously discussed planning a family with husband Jonas, telling Vanity Fair that, “they’re a big part of our desire for the future,” adding, “By God’s grace, when it happens, it happens.”
She also answered to a question about whether they would have to slow down following the birth of their child, to which Priyanka replied, “I’m ok with that.. We’re both ok with that.”
In December 2018, the pair married in India in a two-day ceremony that incorporated Christian and Hindu ceremonies. They reside in Los Angeles with their three dogs Diana, Gina, and Panda.
