Mahalia has dropped her latest track, “Different Types Of Love,” featuring Dancehall sensation Masicka. Excited about the release, Mahalia described the song as “fun, sexy, and the perfect luvergirl record,” adding that she has been a longtime fan of Masicka and is thrilled to have him on the track.

The new single follows her recent releases, including “Pressure Points” with Lila Iké and “Pick Up The Pace” featuring Bayka, as well as her second album, IRL.
Speaking on the song’s theme, Mahalia shared that she has been embracing the lighter, more playful side of love in her music, as she expressed a desire to create a space for joy and escapism, especially with how heavy the world feels right now.
“I love love,” she said. “But recently, I’ve been leaning into the fun, unserious side of it. The world is so heavy right now—I want my music to be a space where people can find joy and playfulness.”
