In response to overwhelming fan enthusiasm, Ms. Lauryn Hill, the iconic 5-time Grammy winner, has announced additional European dates for her ‘Miseducation Anniversary Tour,’ co-headlined with The Fugees. The tour, celebrating her groundbreaking album, will now include stops in Dublin, Cardiff, Cologne, a second night in Paris, Antwerp, and Hamburg.
Starting on August 9th in Tampa, the 21-date tour will feature performances across the U.S., including cities like Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before heading to Europe, with son, YG Marley, joining as a supporting act on select dates.
The newly added stops will be part of the Cardiff Music City Festival, a vibrant event supported by the Welsh Government and Cardiff Council, aiming to attract 20,000 attendees. The festival is slated to run from September 27th to October 20th, 2024.
Tickets for the new dates will be available starting July 31st through various presales, with general sales beginning on August 2nd. Mastercard holders have special access to presales in France, Belgium, and Sweden starting July 31st, and in the UK starting August 2nd. VIP packages, including premium tickets and exclusive experiences, are also available.
Furthermore, £2 from each ticket sold will benefit the MLH Fund, supporting initiatives in mental health, women’s wellness, community small business development, and education.
Ms. Lauryn Hill’s influence on music, fashion, and culture is profound, with her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill being the first hip-hop album to win a Grammy for Album of the Year. The album, which entered the Library of Congress, continues to inspire artists worldwide.
