Pop superstar Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner have officially married, exchanging vows in an intimate civil ceremony in London before preparing for a lavish multi-day celebration in Sicily with family and celebrity friends.
The couple, who have been together since January 2024, quietly wed on May 31st, at Old Marylebone Town Hall, one of the UK’s most famous wedding venues. Surrounded by a small circle of close friends and family, the pair opted for a private ceremony before emerging to a shower of confetti and flower petals from well-wishers gathered outside.
Photos from the occasion showed Lipa embracing modern elegance in a custom Schiaparelli ensemble, consisting of a tailored suit jacket and matching skirt paired with heels and a dramatic wide-brimmed hat. Turner complemented her look in a classic navy suit, styled with a blue shirt and tie.
The venue itself has long been associated with celebrity weddings, with music legends Paul McCartney and Liam Gallagher amongst the high-profile figures who have previously married at the historic London registry office.
While the London ceremony was intentionally understated, the newlyweds are reportedly preparing for a far grander celebration on the Italian island of Sicily. The couple have organised a three-day wedding extravaganza scheduled to run from Thursday through Sunday, bringing together friends, family and a host of famous guests.
Festivities are expected to centre around Villa Valguarnera, a historic Sicilian estate managed by Princess Vittoria Alliata. The property is renowned for its architectural beauty and sweeping Mediterranean views, making it one of the island’s most sought-after event destinations.
Reports also indicate that the couple reserved an entire floor of suites at Villa Igiea, the luxury seaside hotel overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. The venue is expected to host guests throughout the wedding weekend as part of what insiders have described as a “multi-event extravaganza.” A number of notable names are believed to be on the guest list, including Olivia Dean, Mark Ronson, Charli XCX and Elton John, highlighting the couple’s extensive connections across the entertainment industry.
The wedding marks another milestone in a relationship that has developed steadily over the past two years. After beginning their romance in early 2024, the pair became engaged in 2025, with Lipa confirming the news during an interview with British Vogue. Speaking about their future together at the time, she described the engagement as a deeply meaningful step.
“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling,” she said.
For Lipa, the wedding comes during a career that has already established her as one of the defining pop stars of her generation. Turner, meanwhile, has built an acclaimed acting career through roles in the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald franchise, the television thriller The Capture and the film adaptation of Emma. He has also been widely tipped as a potential future successor to the iconic role of James Bond.
