Summer Walker has confirmed she’s expecting her second child with boyfriend Larry, aka LVRD Pharoh.
Taking to her Instagram Live on Saturday (June 25), Summer confirmed her pregnancy to her millions of followers, saying:
“People asking me if I’m pregnant… “I am and you know I’m very, very, very, very, happy about it.”
She went on: “Very excited about it. And this is gonna be — I’m very very excited because it’s going to be different from how it was before. It’s really peaceful, really happy, lots of help, lots of love.”
Walker discussed why she revealed the news this early, as opposed to when she revealed her first pregnancy with music producer London on Da Track.
She explained: “The only reason I’m even saying anything is because last time I felt very disrespected that people didn’t let me tell that myself.”
Adding: “People were taking pictures of me in the store — I know it kind of comes with the job –… [but] people took pictures of me and sent it to The Shade Room before I could even announce my pregnancy. I thought that was very disrespectful and it made me very, very, very, very, very upset.”
Walker and Larry made their Instagram debut by posting a photo of themselves with tattoos of each other’s names and with the caption “Bestfriend.”
Prior to her romance with Larry, Walker had been linked to London on Da Track, with the ‘Love Cycle’ singer sharing on her Instagram Stories later last year that she was “officially single,” according to Hot New Hip Hop.
