Nicki Minaj is gearing up to share more about her life with fans by means of a self-titled six-part docuseries.

Teasing the trailer for the documentary, Minaj announced the arrival of ‘Nicki’ on Instagram, saying it might be “coming out sooner than [sic] you think.”

She wrote in her post, “I took some time to perfect this very intimate, delicate, electrifying, inspiring body of work. As I decide on a home for this project, I can’t help but reflect on what I’m including in this doc. Some things are so personal, it’s scary. It’s like NOTHING you’ve seen before & I need it to be handled with care. Love you so much. Thank you for the continued support.”

According to the teaser, Nicki had a personal epiphany when she walked away from the industry and learned she needed to “start loving myself.” Following the release of the Lil Baby-assisted single, “Do We Have a Problem?” earlier this year, Minaj told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that her next album is “coming very soon, obviously,” and cited her recent releases as a hint.

While a release date for the album is yet to be announced, the ‘Trollz’ rapper is hard at work, as she readies the release of her upcoming docuseries, as well as a new episode of Queen Radio on Amazon’s Amp app set for August 11th, and the release of her new single, ‘Freaky Girl’ the next day.

The teaser comes months after Nicki announced in November that she’s working on a documentary, naming renowned director, Michael John Warren as the helm for the project.
