The highly-anticipated trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World” has finally dropped, setting the stage for Anthony Mackie‘s solo debut as Captain America. The film picks up where “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” left off, with Mackie‘s character tasked by the new elected US president, Thaddeus Ross (played by Harrison Ford), to assemble a new Avengers team.

Fans got their first glimpse of the sequel’s exclusive snippet back in April at CinemaCon. The newly-unveiled trailer ends with an exciting tease of Red Hulk, a character long rumoured to appear in the movie.

Originally slated for a July 26th, 2024 release, the film was delayed to February 14th, 2025, with its original slot taken by “Deadpool & Wolverine.” The trailer is expected to be shown in theatres alongside the new Deadpool movie.

Returning from the TV series are Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres. Additionally, Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson reprise their roles from “The Incredible Hulk” as Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns, respectively. Directed by Julius Onah, the film also stars Shira Haas as Sabra, with Giancarlo Esposito, Rosa Salazar, Seth Rollins, and Xosha Roquemore in undisclosed roles.
