It appears Kid Cudi will not be included on Ye’sDonda 2‘ album.

On Saturday, West took to Instagram to reveal his plan to not include Cudi on Donda 2, noting the rapper’s affiliation with “you know who,” writing:

“Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who. We all speak in Billie language now.”

Although Ye’s comment “you know who” wasn’t specifically linked to anyone in particular, he tagged Kim Kardashian in the post, and given Cudi’s well-known affiliation with Pete Davidson, it’s plausible that his statement is about the comedian.

Following Ye’s Instagram post, Cudi subsequently appeared to reply to Ye’s Instagram comment with a series of tweets, stating that they had already talked “about this” a few weeks ago.

“We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet,” Cudi tweeted. “You ain’t no friend. BYE.”

Ye’s comment seemingly vexed a Twitter user, who then tweeted at Cudi, writing:

“Not worth losing a friendship over man,” a fan wrote. “If he can’t be the bigger person than I suggest u leave him be.. he’s annoying af anyways.” To which Cudi agreed, and wrote “Very.”

Kid went on to share other tweets about how he’s feeling about the situation, tweeting: “oh man im too blessed.”

Kid also addressed Ye in the comment section of his post, writing:

“Too bad i dont wanna be on ur album u f**kin dinosaur hahaha.. everyone knows ive been the best thing abour ur albums since i met u. Ima pray u for brother.”

With all that said, what’s your opinion on Ye’s decision to remove Kid Cudi from his album?
