UK rapper Nines has officially released his final album, Quit While You’re Ahead, marking his departure from the music industry. Renowned for his raw storytelling and authenticity, Nines leaves a significant legacy with this album, which serves as both a farewell and a celebration of his impact on UK rap.
The album is a star-studded project, featuring collaborations with some of the biggest names in UK rap and beyond, including Skrapz, Rimzee, J Styles, Bellah, NorthSideBenji, Gappy Ranks, K-Trap, Shocktown, Marnz Malone, Bee & Gee, and Zino.
In addition to the album, Nines has delivered a stunning self-directed cinematic video for “Going Crazy,” offering a glimpse into his creative vision. The project also arrives with a self-directed short film, titled ‘Crop Circle Farm: A Film By Nines,’ which expands on the themes of the album, blending music with storytelling.
Meanwhile, the production of the album is equally impressive, featuring contributions from UK duo Jungle and Nines’ long-time collaborator Karlos, whose work has been instrumental in shaping his sound over the years.
With Quit While You’re Ahead, Nines leaves an indelible mark on UK rap, closing out his career on his own terms while cementing his status as a trailblazer in the genre.
