British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith unveils her next project, “Falling or Flying (Reimagined),” a collection of re-worked tracks from her critically acclaimed 2023 album, slated to arrive on May 3rd, 2024.

The album features reimagined, stripped-back versions of tracks from her original album, starting with the delicate ode “Greatest Gift (Reimagined).” Each track offers a fresh perspective on Jorja’s signature sound, providing listeners with a deeper insight into her creative process and emotional depth.

Jorja’s original “Falling or Flying” album received widespread acclaim upon its release in 2023, earning her a BRIT Nomination in the ‘Best R&B’ category at the 2024 ceremony. The album’s sonically diverse nature and introspective themes resonated with audiences and critics alike, solidifying Jorja’s reputation as a formidable talent in the music industry.

Reflecting on her growth since her debut album “Lost & Found,” Jorja has evolved as a songwriter and artist, navigating the complexities of life and the ever-changing music landscape. The reimagined version of last year’s original album follows 2021’s, “Be Right Back”, which arrived following a musical hiatus after the release of “Lost & Found,” and received critical acclaim atop the UK charts.

Jorja said of the famed project, “Be Right Back did exactly what I wanted it to do. It was a little waiting room so people knew I was coming back,” she asserted.

Adding, “I like this world that I’ve just come into. And I’m still figuring things out. Always figuring things out. This is the first time I’m putting stuff out there that I can connect with right now.”
