Taking to social media on Monday, 28th March, Ella Mai announced the release date for her forthcoming sophomore album, dubbed ‘HEART ON MY SLEEVE.’
Announcing the date on her Twitter, the songbird told her fans what the album meant to her and how excited she is to be dropping the project.
She tweeted, “HEART ON MY SLEEVE. MAY 6 2022.
i poured my whole heart into this album, more so than ever before. i am overly excited for this sophomore journey. let’s do it all over again!”

‘HEART ON MY SLEEVE’ will serve as the follow-up to Mai’s 2018 self-titled debut album which delivered hits such as ‘Boo’d Up’ and more, and is preceded by her recently released single ‘DFMU.’
