Coi Leray is addressing worries about her wellbeing after a video surfaced online showing the rapper seemingly inebriated and passed out in a bathtub filled with water.

The clip showed a woman attempting to wake the rapper – who was fully clothed and half immersed – and get her out of the tub. She asked, “Sis, you good?.” The clip quickly went viral, prompting fans and concerned parties to react on social media.
In response to all the worry over her wellbeing, Coi Leray took to her Instagram Stories, and wrote, “It’s so crazy how happy I be after I drink. I see why people be alcoholics.”
Fans compared Coi Leray’s video to that of the late singer Whitney Houston, who is said to have drowned in her bathtub after heavy drinking. Coi Leray ignored the remarks and said that she was simply having fun and did it frequently in her bathtub.
Leray addressed the remarks in the comment section of a Shaderoom post:
“First of alllll!!! Lmaooooo there’s other videos before thissssssss lmaooo y’all alll crazy!!!,” she wrote. “And seconddddd WE GET LITTTTTT and 3rd I always get in the tub when I’m drunk lmaoo y’all leave me alone.”
She also explained that she was safe at the time as she was having fun with her family and friends around during an Instagram Live she had with her best friend and mother.
“I see a vlog posted ‘Pray for Coi Leray.’ Please pray for me. I need all the prayers I can get,” she chuckled at the Shaderoom’s caption, as her bestfriend defended her, saying: “She’s a regular person, she likes to have fun like y’all don’t act like y’all never been drunk.”

Fans were reassured by her friend that Coi is being looked after, saying,“she’s never gonna drown in the tub, she couldn’t drown in the tub.”
Coi Leray also added, “It’s the vlogs are making it seem like I’m dead in the tub,” as she laughed and noted that she was tipsy after mixing 818 Tequila with Don Julio 1942 Tequila.”
Adding, “I guarantee you gonna be in the tub just like I was. When you’re super drunk and you’re lit, my advice is for you to take a bath. My clothes didn’t come off because these b****s in the bathroom with me and my momma here with me.”
Coi’s mother also stated, “We have fun that’s what we do. it was all laughter and fun, stop hating, we gon protect her 100,000%, get the f**k outta here.”
