After months of regret when a planned performance by Chris Brown and Ciara in honor of Michael Jackson during the 2022 American Music Awards was canceled, it appears the two have cooked up a collab for their fans, and we absolutely adore it!
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Thursday, April 13th, Brown announced an imminent collaboration with Cee, sending fans into comeplete chaos.
He wrote, “Me and @Ciara got some FIRE coming!”

Breezy’s post comes months after the two were set to deliver an epic performance at the 2022 AMAs after weeks of rehearsing and anticipation, only for the performance to be canceled at the last minute, with no explanations given according to Brown. Fans have since been left wondering what may have been of such a performance, and it looks that the two will no longer keep us waiting in misery.
At the time, Ciara shared a clip from their rehearsal, writing: “MJ thank you for the inspiration you’ve given us all! Thriller 40th Anniversary. @ChrisBrown you’re a rare breed of this generation. Always fun to rock with you 💃🏽”

In response to the social media outrage channeled at the organizers of the awards show, a DCP spokesperson told ET:
“Live shows change all the time, it’s the nature of this business; unfortunately, this element of the AMAs didn’t come together as we couldn’t align on the performance, to no fault of Chris Brown,” the statement read.
