The recently imprisoned self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew Tate is reportedly suffering from lung cancer, according to his manager.

Tate is presently in a Romanian prison after he and his brother Tristan were arrested on charges including “creating an organized criminal ring, human trafficking, and rape” as well as coercing women into “forced work and pornographic actions” for “significant cash incentives.”

The assets of the Tate brothers, including a collection of high-end vehicles, were also confiscated by Romanian police after raids on numerous properties connected to the Tate brothers as part of the investigation.

However, months later, the 36-year-old’s manager claims he has a “black spot on his lung,” which is “most likely a tumor.”

Tate’s manager first confirmed the reports on Instagram shortly after they circulated:

“Yes, it’s true. I was the one driving with him to and from the hospital in Dubai. I don’t have any more specifics to share,” he said.

The former kickboxer’s medical team in Dubai and Romania corroborated the claims, but he will not be permitted to leave the country for medical care after his request was denied, and is expected to remain until at least the end of March.

Social media users have ridiculed the controversial influencer, who has made a name for himself online for making inappropriate and misogynistic comments about women since news of the alleged ailment surfaced.
