BEA ANDERSON – PIECES
Bea Anderson finally comes back with an R&B classic titled “Pieces.” She highlights an intimate subject, which many people can relate to through her consummate songwriting. Dreamy melodies and soulful lyrics combined with her intoxicating R&B flavour offer a glimpse into the heartache of a failing relationship. The artist also vocalises her internal challenges as she turns, incapable of accepting the scenario that’s pulling her soul to “pieces.”
PIAO – HAUNTED BY POTENTIAL
Toronto-based and Shanghai-born indie pop singer and songwriter Piao has recently shared her pensive new single titled “Haunted by Potential.” The new track is an expressive ballad about feeling uncertain about previous decisions and the pressures which come from always aiming for success. Lifted from her recent EP titled “Tissues,” her new song slows down her ‘00s-pop-inspired sound to let the emerging singer a place to highlight her delicate vocal skills and candid lyricism.
KRIS HOLLIS – WHEN YOU SEE MY NUMBER
Popular for making his cinematic music videos and works within the modern R&B realms, R&B artist Kris Hollis took his skill set to the City of Angels, where he built his fanbase through touring and collaborations. The 29-year-old artist has been creating music for the past decade and discovered himself wanting to build his creativity not just behind the screen but in the studio, too. As the artist continues to increase his ever-changing talent, Kris describes his new song while living by the motivation of “you are only as good as your previous song.”
RAYL FT. ERIN B – SUMMERTIME
The Toronto-based R&B singer and songwriter Rayl has recently dropped a new single titled “Summertime” that features Erin B. The sublime tack is a lovely guitar-led R&B ballad reminiscing about the ideal summer romance. The song was inspired by the artist’s fascination with the theme of love in the summer, whether it’s a long-time relationship or just a summer fling, combined with going on long drives, those long warm nights, and having timeless conversations that you simply do not like to end. “Summertime” is a lovely guitar-led R&B ballad about lovers reminiscing about their ideal summer romance.
