Logan Paul is already looking to take on another boxing veteran, Mike Tyson, only two weeks after enduring eight rounds in the ring with Floyd Mayweather.
The Youtuber-turned-boxer alluded in the most recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, to be considering taking on Tyson as his next opponent.
The 26-year-old recalls telling his lawyer: “Someone mentioned Mike Tyson. My lawyer mentioned it and he’s like, ‘Nah, Tyson will rip your head off, you don’t stand a chance.’ I’m like, ‘I just went through all this.’ You can’t tell me I can’t beat Mike Tyson. He’s old, old.”
When asked by TMZ Sports in May if he’d accept a hypothetical challenge from the Paul brothers, the former world heavyweight champion stated he wasn’t interested in fighting either.
According to Yahoo Sports, after Paul’s recent bout with Mayweather earlier this month, Tyson FaceTimed Paul to congratulate him.
After 15 years in retirement, Tyson jumped back in the ring to battle it out with Roy Jones Jr, with the bout ending in a draw following a heavy eight-round showdown. It would be somewhat of a ridicule to see a Youtuber-turned-boxer battle it out with arguably the best the industry has to offer, but if previous fixtures are any indication, Paul and his organizers could still make it happen.
