The 42-year-old DJ, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, is accused of coercing a lady into having oral sex in 2019, according to legal documents acquired by TMZ.

The alleged victim was invited to an afterparty for one of Diplo’s Las Vegas gigs, according to the complaint. The accuser then said she and her friends accepted the invitation and met Diplo at Wynn hotel, where he gave the already inebriated bunch marijuana and liquor.

Diplo allegedly invited the accuser to join him in his private room shortly after they arrived at the party. Diplo’s security began removing individuals from the party at that time, according to the lawsuit, including a male friend who was struck in the face for refusing to leave without her.

Diplo allegedly told the lady she couldn’t leave unless she gave him oral sex once inside the private area. The plaintiff said she cooperated because she was afraid for her safety and just wanted to get out of there. She also claims Diplo videotaped the entire event without her permission, and she is suing for undisclosed damages.

This lawsuit comes after Diplo’s former girlfriend Shelly Auguste sued the DJ for sexual assault, assault, defamation, infliction of emotional distress, and fraud. According to Diplo’s attorney Bryan Freedman, the current lawsuit is in connection to Auguste’s as it’s part of a “shakedown” planned by the artist’s ex-girlfriend.

Freedman said to TMZ: “This complaint is completely outrageous, wildly untrue and yet also entirely predictable, given that it simply repeats the exact same claim already made by the plaintiff’s friend Shelly Auguste, an individual who has been harassing Mr. Pentz and his family for more than a year and already has repeatedly violated the restraining order issued against her.

“We have irrefutable evidence that this is a completely meritless claim and we will be providing it to a court as quickly as we possibly can to put an end to this shakedown by Ms. Auguste and her accomplices once and for all.”
