Wizkid’s concert at London’s O2 Arena sold out in less than 12 minutes, leaving fans racing to locate remaining tickets.
The Afrobeats titan is set to perform during O2 Arena’s Welcome Back series on November 28th which will also include appearances from Burna Boy and comedian Mo Gilligan.
Taking to social media, Wizkid thanked his fans for showing him love by securing their tickets so rapidly.

However, not every fan was amused with how fast the tickets run out, as many had stayed up late to ensure they secure a ticket.
A Twitter user tweeted:
Y’all that got 6 or more tickets .. it’s not fair on us that couldn’t get even one !!!!! Not niceee at all .. I could cry right now cause I was literally up all night waiting to buy my ticket!!!

While many were furious and took to social media to express their rage and disappointment, some found humour in the entire situation, which they were generous enough to share online.
Don't worry. When it's time for the show just wait outside the Arena this guy will be smuggling people through. At least that's what I've heard. His name is Frank pic.twitter.com/HnwjBhpwMI

Others also suggested fans not rush and fall for scammers who will take the chance to dupe cherished fans out of their hard-earned cash. Another also claimed that it is more than likely that the singer will set another date as per fan request.

Wizkid’s last album, ‘Made in Lagos’ which was released in October 2020, was met with critical and commercial acclaim and is certainly a driving factor to the artist selling out several concerts all around the globe. The project also earned the singer the title of the most-streamed Nigerian musician of all time.
