The super-host previously shared her long-term condition with viewers, explaining she had Lymphedema which is a condition that enables excess fluids to collect in tissues leading to swelling.
Williams has revealed some more details into her condition and how she battles living with it day-to-day.
Sharing on social media, Wendy posted a photo of her legs which seemingly have been affected by the illness, and thanked her doctor, writing:
“My Dr Laure is the French lady who’s helping me live with lymphedema. She scrubs & understands my disease is not curable only manageable. Oh yes I’m wearing a sequin dress why not?! #lymphedema”
As a celebrity, it is always difficult to share the flaws, and we applaud Williams for sharing such a personal shot of herself. The absolute courage of the act would most certainly serve as a model for many others.
