Following the impressive reception of ‘WW84’, Warner Bros has taken the opportunity to address fans globally and inform them about the next release of the franchise.
Warner Bros Chief Toby Emmerich said: “As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ we are excited to be able continue her story with our real-life Wonder Women — Gal and Patty — who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy.”
‘Wonder Woman 1984’ amassed $85 million in its opening window, with $16.7 million coming from 2,100 North American theatres. This is even more impressive as the movie was released in both theatres and streaming platforms due to the coronavirus pandemic.
