Victoria Beckham and Simon Cowell are said to be the highest-ranking Britons in a global league table cataloging the money generated by celebrity businesses.
The two who make their fortunes in different fields, ie. Fashion design and music for Victoria Beckham and Simon Cowell respectively, are joint in the table with each earning an estimated £34million in annual revenue from their businesses.
This is said to be determined by businesses launched by celebrities rather than how much they earn directly from their fame.
The research, published by marketing firm Digitaloft and online betting analysts OLBG, ranked American rapper Dr.Dre at number one.
Dr. Dre is said to earn an estimated £1.2billion a year, from his previously founded company Beats by Dr. Dre, currently called Beats Electronics.
Next is Kanye West in second place, who earns around £1billion annually through collaborations with Adidas and Yeezy brand.
The league has his wife Kim Kardashian in the top 10, with her beauty range earning her about £77million a year.
However, Rihanna was in third place with her Fenty collection of fashion and beauty companies netting her a combined total of around £860 million a year.
Many others were in the list namely, Jessica Alba who earns around £295million a year from her Honest Company which makes natural baby products, and Jessica Simpson who after her rise in fame from singing, now makes £770 million a year from her eponymous fashion brand.
