Following the recent confirmation that the estate of Kobe Bryant decided not to renew its contract with Nike, fans will be excited to know that a new clothing line from the family is imminent.
Today, Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, revealed the unveiling of her new Mambacita clothing line, which will debut tomorrow as a tribute to her late daughter Gianna “Gigi,” who would have turned 15 today.
The Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, an organization created by the Bryant family to support projects in underserved areas while also furthering Kobe and Gigi’s legacies through youth sports, will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sales.
The Foundation was initially called the Mamba Sports Foundation, but it was rebranded to the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation in honor of Gigi, who died in a horrific helicopter accident on January 26, 2020, along with her father Kobe, teammates, and their parents.
