As earlier reported, Kanye West took to social media yesterday, 29th Aug. and accused his label (Universal Music Group) of releasing his long-awaited ‘Donda’ album without his approval. He also claimed the label blocked his track “Jail Pt 2” which features Dababy from being included on the album.
Kanye West’s claims against Universal, according to sources within the company, are “preposterous.” While no one commented about the issue on the record, it seems UMG wants some type of public denial.
Following West’s assertions – which included claims that Dababy’s management was refusing to clear the rapper’s verse – “Jail Pt 2” has joined ‘Donda’ on streaming platforms with Dababy’s manager Arnold Taylor, claiming Ye’s statements was a lie and that it was all “social media bulls***.”
