Tyla has officially unveiled the tracklist for her highly anticipated sophomore album, APop*, using a creative reveal that perfectly captures the project’s bold identity.

Rather than posting a traditional tracklist, the South African star stepped into a blacklight room and spray-painted each song title across the walls in fluorescent colours while her collaboration with Zara Larsson, ‘She Did It Again’, played in the background.

The 14-track album includes previously released singles ‘Chanel’, ‘Is It’, ‘Is It Love’ and ‘She Did It Again’, alongside brand-new songs including ‘That Girl’, ‘Kiss’, ‘Fairytale’, ‘Mr. Nonchalant’ and ‘Hot Tubs’.

Speaking to Billboard Africa earlier this month, Tyla explained the inspiration behind the album’s title and her vision for creating a new lane for African pop music.

“A*Pop is just something that came to me. It just makes so much sense. I’ve always wanted to be this pop star.”

She continued:

“I bring the A to pop. It’s African pop; African music is pop music.”

APop* follows Tyla’s critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, released in 2024, and marks another exciting chapter as she continues to take African music to a global audience.
