Tyla and Zara Larsson have set social media alight after hinting at a potential collaboration straight from the studio.
Speculation began when Zara Larsson shared an Instagram Story showing herself in a recording studio alongside Tyla. Captioning the post, “Ascending to heaven, actually,” Larsson amplified excitement around the unexpected pairing.
The timing has only fueled curiosity. Larsson is currently preparing a deluxe edition of her album Midnight Sun, while Tyla has announced her forthcoming sophomore project, A-Pop. With both artists signed to Epic Records, either release could serve as a home for the rumoured collaboration.

This isn’t the first time the two have been spotted together though, as the two attended Epic Records and Hennessy’s Grammy weekend celebration in Los Angeles earlier this month. The event doubled as the 24th birthday celebration for Tyla, who continues to build on her Grammy recognition for African music, while Larsson enjoys renewed international traction, buoyed by viral streaming momentum and a refreshed pop sound.
If the studio session leads to an official release, the collaboration would unite two rising forces with distinct yet complementary pop identities — Tyla’s rhythmic, genre-blending flair meeting Larsson’s polished, hook-driven pop sensibility.
