According to TMZ, Trey Songz is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault claim in Las Vegas.
On Sunday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department filed a complaint involving an alleged incident at The Cosmopolitan. The specific date of the alleged incident is yet unknown. According to reports, Songz is collaborating with the inquiry.
Songz and his buddies took a few ladies back to the hotel after celebrating his 37th birthday at Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday night, according to a source at The Cosmopolitan. The alleged assault is thought to have occurred after that. Per reports, no arrests have been made as of now.
This isn’t the first time the artist is facing legal troubles, as a number of reported physical interactions have been linked to him in recent years. The ‘Bottoms Up’ singer was reportedly detained in January at a game at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium following an altercation.
He was sued for battery after a 2019 incident in which he allegedly attacked a bartender who was trying to draw his attention to a violation of the venue’s policy of no standing on the bar.
