Tory is attempting to defend his name once more in relation to the alleged shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion from last year.

Lanez appeared on the Funk Flex radio show on Monday to perform a freestyle over Cassidy’s 2005 hit track, “I’m A Hustla.” During which, Lanez dismisses Twitter’s attempt to get him booted from the platform and claims he was framed. Although the Canadian rapper-singer was vague on his accusations, fans believe the rapper’s statement was intended for Megan Thee Stallion, concerning her alleged shooting case against the rapper.

Lanez said: “Shout out to DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby. What I’m about to say is gon’ sound a little crazy, but it’s true so don’t play me. Y’all all would have got your awards if they didn’t frame me!”

Lanez saluted all three rappers who were nominated for Best Rap Song at the Grammy Awards this year but lost to Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé for their Savage (Remix).

This will mark his latest attempt at claiming to be innocent, as the ‘Say It’ rapper, previously asserted he was being framed on his track “Money Over Fallouts.”

On the track, Lanez can be heard asking, “Gotta see a couple questions. How the f*ck you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons? How the f*ck your team is trying to pay me in some whole millions? I just lost like 10 million dollars because this cold business. But I got like 10 million followers that’s gon’ roll with me. Fans that support me because they know my heart.”

Lanez is currently prohibited from speaking publicly about the incident while charges are pending which only leaves him to be creative with his words during singing or rapping.
