As previously reported, Tory Lanez found himself in serious trouble after performing on stage at the Rolling Loud Miami concert, shortly after Megan Thee Stallion’s performance, which breached a protective order imposed by the judge in their shooting case. As such, his bail has been increased from $190,000 to $250,000 by a judge according to TMZ and is currently banned from attending any shows with Megan Thee Stallion present.
The ruling comes after prosecutors in the case requested the judge to either raise or revoke his bail, claiming he was within 100 yards of Megan. Sources however claim the Canadian rapper was not physically near the femcee at any time.
The court openly stated that this is his final warning and that if Tory violates it again, he would be detained in jail.
Lanez is charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle after reportedly shooting Megan in the foot during a disagreement in the Hollywood Hills in July 2020, prompting the protection order.
What are your thoughts on the judge’s ruling?
