The Afrobeats diva has unveiled her new EP, “Water and Garri,” with a release date slated for Friday, August 20th.

The announcement was preceded by an earlier tease on her social media, where Tiwa shared a snippet of herself in a studio, listening to a track from the EP.

Following Tiwa’s post, fans began to speculate on who the other voice in the snippet was, with several stating how similar the voice was to Savage’s idol Brandy.
Soon after, Brandy took to her social media to confirm the collaboration with a post of her own, captioned:
“Guess who?…The sweetest sounds about to drop. Is your notification on?…Water and Garri #WAG @tiwasavage love love love you♥️”
The songstress in response to Brandy’s post also commented: “MY QUEEN, MY SIS, MY MENTOR 👑❤️🏆🙏🏾 this is still so unreal”
The entire exchange seems so unreal for music lovers, as such a duet would have been a far-fetched fantasy in the past, noting previous obstacles in music for Afrobeats artists and musicians from the United States or the United Kingdom.
