You can say coronavirus is not going to stop DC’s schedules as The Batman continues in Liverpool despite the city starting out lockdown with tier 3 restrictions in place.
Robert Pattinson, playing Bruce Wayne in DC’s upcoming movie was spotted getting into a muscle car as he shot a scene.
The crew could be seen wearing masks as they shot the scene as they have been permitted to continue filming in Liverpool.
Currently, Liverpool is the only region in the UK undergoing tier 3 coronavirus restrictions. This tier is considered as the highest tier, which means that pubs and bars are not working, a household cannot mix indoors or outside, and travels are limited to essential journeys.
The spokesperson of the Liverpool City Council said in a statement that, “The new restrictions in Liverpool do not currently impact on filming in the city region. The Film Office is working closely with every single production to ensure Covid-safe measures are in place and are being adhered to in accordance with rigorous industry protocols.”
We hope to see The Batman on the set release date which is on March 4th, 2022.
