The ‘Wildest Dreams’ singer has once again led the pack as she continues to break records, setting new milestones. The latest feat comes with the help of her latest album ‘Evermore’ and its vinyl sales.
‘Evermore’ has smashed the record for the best sales week for a vinyl album in the United States since MRC Data started monitoring sales in 1991 in only three days.
According to Billboard, the vinyl version of Swift’s ninth studio album which was released on May 28 and sold over 40,000 copies in the United States through May 30. Jack White held the previous record with his album “Lazaretto.”
Furthermore, ‘Evermore’ is on track to shatter its own record, with 80-100k vinyl LPs expected to be sold.
The record is expected to debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 next week as a result of the strong sales. It previously reached #1 and remained there for three weeks.
