Following Tamar Braxton’s suicide attempt on July 16th, she shares her emotional story in an episode of Taraji P. Henson’s new Facebook Watch show, ‘Peace of Mind’.
Speaking her truth, Braxton shared: “Logan was the reason why I made that decision. I just felt like he deserved better. I felt like I was embarrassing him, being a fool on TV.
Being shocked by her words, Taraji asked: “you thought he would be better without you?”
The emotional singer replied:
“I thought in that moment. Because I knew that’s not what my whole life really was. That’s not who I was. I didn’t want him to be embarrassed in front of his friends. Here is this loudmouth ghetto mama.”
What a terrible way for anyone to feel. We are so proud of Tamar for staying strong after going through such a tough time in her life and being brave to share her story in this manner.
