The ‘Good Days’ singer has released a bombshell, at least to her fans, as she has alluded to a possible ‘scrap’ of her long-awaited album in order to start afresh.
Fresh off the heels of her BET Awards win, SZA is countering her previous announcement of an imminent release of her sophomore album which got fans excited on social media.
During a recent sit-down with WWD magazine, where the songstress dished on her Grey Goose-sponsored virtual performance on Youtube, which aired on July 1st, she revealed:
“I’m actually probably about to scrap all of it and start from scratch,” she answered when asked about the new record.
She followed up saying: “I’m literally not talking about my album anymore until it’s out in the world,” she added. “At this point, I’m gonna start jinxing it, and I don’t want to jinx anything.”
It would seem SZA isn’t ready to be questioned multiple times on the subject at this point.
This comes after the singer recently took home BET’s HER Award from nominees, Alicia Keys featuring Khalid — “So Done,” Brandy featuring Chance the Rapper — “Baby Mama,” Bri Steves — “Anti Queen,” Chloe X Halle — “Baby Girl,” and Ciara featuring Ester Dean — “Rooted.”
She did that! Congratulations to @SZA on winning the BET HER Awards. #BETAwards #CulturesBiggestNight pic.twitter.com/g9hxFTH5Lm
