Swae Lee alleges that a stay at the Mondrian Hotel in South Beach cost him $300,000 in jewels, and he demands the hotel’s service workers be held liable.

Swae Lee checked out of the Mondrian on Thursday (June 10th), according to TMZ, and informed officials he was missing a bracelet and a few chains. He had reported his lost things to the hotel, and a staff member was able to locate the bracelet and not his chains.

However, detectives in Miami Beach do not believe the hotel took Swae Lee’s belongings, and the Mondrian Hotel has been tight-lipped about any facts.

Meanwhile, the Hotel told TMZ: “The hotel is working in full cooperation with the police and authorities. As always, the safety and security of our guests and colleagues remains our top priority.”

This will mark the second time in recent months that the rapper has parted ways with a property, as h e misplaced a hard disk containing all of his songs at the Los Angeles International Airport in December 2020. He offered $20,000 for its safe return, but the culprit countered with a $150,000 ransom demand. The two were reportedly able to reach an agreement and Swae informed his fans, “[It’s] on its way back,” adding, “It’s like a movie, bro…but I’m not really stressing. I’ve dealt with worse shit than this.”
