Soulja Boy is making major moves with his newly announced record label Stacks on Deck Entertainment label — aka SODMG, as the ‘Tell em’ rapper has signed the son of Tom Hanks Chet Hanks.

The pair-up is appropriate in so many ways but mostly for the fact that they each manage to go viral so often, which in this case will only boost the reach for their work together.

According to reports, Chet and Soulja Boy finalized the deal during a hangout on Tuesday, 17th August.

Revealing the news on social media, Draco took to Instagram to share a video, saying:

“Chet Hanks, my new artist signed to SODMG Records as the first rapper signed this year. We are about to make history, you know what I’m sayin’?”

To which Chet teased: “Just wait,’ as Soulja promised: ‘Album on the way.”

Soulja captioned his post: “Welcome my newest artist @chethanx to the family.”

While Chet also wrote on Instagram: “JUST SIGNED TO #SODMG‼️ Just wait to see what we do next.”

The exciting drama didn’t end there though, as a male voice could be heard from behind the camera stating, “Big Draco, big moves,” before turning the camera around to reveal himself as producer Stephen Belafonte, also known as Mel B’s ex-husband.

Stephen appears to have played a role in the move, writing on Instagram, “I keep telling people fux with me, I put the plays together.”

While many may not have heard any music content from the artist, Chet’s music career didn’t just appear out of nowhere seeing as he’s been producing music for years and has recently released a single titled ‘Damn.’

Like his father, people may recognize him from his acting skills, as he recently starred alongside Bryan Cranston in the acclaimed Sky Atlantic drama series Your Honor.
