Junior, Peter Andre and Katie Price’s 16-year-old son, has announced that he would soon be releasing music via the same label as Calvin Harris and Harry Styles.
Junior Andre has revealed that he will be following in the footsteps of his pop star father, as he has secured a music deal with Columbia Records UK.
Junior stated that he’d been producing new songs with two other up-and-coming artists at an indie studio called Rebel Records in London for weeks on end.
He shared the exciting news on social media with a photo of himself with his proud father Pete standing among various members of the Rebel squad.
The teenager wrote: “Wow. Where do I start? These past six months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it. My dad took me to the studio six months ago and got me in the booth at @rebelrecs.
“Since then I have secretly been working on a MASSIVE project, and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me!
“I would just like to say thank you to the team @rebelrecs alongside my dad who have helped develop me into an artist.
“Of course a big shoutout to @sktartist and @marcellonoego who are very talented and have been working with me on this project since the start.”
He then thanked his mother Katie, saying:
“Not forgetting my mum who is always supportive of me.
“And of course my family and friends. I love everyone who supports me and I am very excited to go on this journey with you all.” He concluded his statement with the teasing comment, “NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!!”
Following the exciting news on social media, his sister Princess, 14, and his father also congratulated him.
Princess wrote: “Congratulations, Junior, love you” with a heart emoji.
With father Pete writing: “It’s your turn my son. So so proud. 6 months ago when I took you into @rebelrecs and got you in the booth, I knew you would blow them away. You have worked so hard and your dedication is incredible.
“6 months later you put your signature on a major label contract. @columbiauk . You’re gonna shine and I’m right here next to you all the way. Go go go.
“Ps I’m gonna post a pic soon that will make you laugh but is very poignant”
