According to TMZ, Richard Lamar “Ricky” Hawk, better known as Silento has been charged with four felonies in the murder trial of his cousin, following an indictment by a Georgia grand jury.
According to the latest legal documents, the 23-year-old rapper was charged with four felonies, which include one count of malice murder, one count of felony murder, aggravated assault, and having a firearm while committing a felony.
As previously reported, following an inquiry into the man’s death, detectives detained Silento in early February for allegedly murdering Frederick Rooks. On Jan. 21, Rooks, the rapper’s cousin, was shot and killed in the street, after which DeKalb County detectives linked Silento to the crime.
The rapper is being detained without bond at the moment, and his team claims he’s had many mental issues in the past.
