Sean Garrett, a well-known record producer, isn’t riding high on his success as he’s continuously on the lookout for new talent and this time, in the form of a “Star Search”-style approach with a new target.
Garrett and co-founder of his new record label, ‘Hey Young World’ Max Gousse recently appeared on “TMZ Live” to explain how they’re not only looking for new talents but rather “Looking for Legends.”
He’ll be partnering with iHeart Radio to locate a diverse bunch of fresh talent in five different genre’s which includes pop, R&B, hip-hop, Latin, and country and to apply, one must only submit a video.
The competition will then move on to the top 30 round, where the finalists will perform live in front of Sean and other judges with only five record deals on the line.
Sean Garrett is well-known for his work with the likes of Ciara, Mario, Nicki Minaj, Pussycat Dolls, and Usher. With such impressive lists under his belt, Garrett believes he’s set out to find the next batch of talents to fill in the shoes of the greats.
