Dame Dash is ready to voice his thoughts after Roc-A-Fella filed a lawsuit against him for attempting to sell the masters to Jay-Z’s debut album ‘Reasonable Doubt’ as an NFT.
Following the filing of the lawsuit, Dash reportedly claimed that Roc-A-Fella’s filing was inaccurate, seeing that he was only trying to sell his part in Roc-A-Fella, not Jay-Z’s album, according to TMZ.
Per TMZ, Dash claimed that in March, Jay-Z sought to acquire his one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella for an unacceptable amount and that the co-founder is actively seeking a new buyer. ” Dash informed the publication.
The case was filed only days after Jay sued Jonathan Mannion, the photographer who was responsible for the cover of Jay’s ‘Reasonable Doubt’ album and other photos of the rapper. It is alleged that Mannion illegally “exploited” Hov’s likeness, according to the complaint, and also claims that, further requests for him to cease sales of the photographs had been disregarded by Mannion.
