Financial officials scolded Rita Ora for failing to present official documentation for her businesses.

The singer has amassed a £6.5 million wealth using companies that handle her multimillion-pound earnings, but two of them were seemingly at risk when Companies House began the process of striking them off.

After being threatened with having her accounts closed, the ‘Grateful’ singer had to rush to submit accounts that were due in April at the last minute.

Ora Multi Services Limited, which had £4.5 million in reserves last year, and Ora Live, which had nearly £2 million with Ora serving as majority shareholder of both had compulsory strike-off issued against them by Companies House.

According to the notice served to both companies on July 6th:

“Unless cause is shown to the contrary, the company will be struck off the register and dissolved not less than two months from the date shown above.

“Upon the company’s dissolution all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the company are deemed to be bona vacant, and will belong to the Crown.”

Per the notice above, the risk was alleviated once Rita filed the paperwork for both firms.

According to the most recent accounts, Ora Multi Series has £2.3 million in cash, while Ora Live has £350,000 in the bank.
