The new single which is described as a “summer banger,” by the ‘Bang Bang’ singer is slated to be released next Friday (July 2), marking the first time the songbird has teamed up with the British DJ.

Introducing the track on social media, Sigala can be seen bouncing along to a snippet of the highly energetic dance-pop that has become synonymous with the DJ, in a video he posted on Twitter.

“The wait is finally over,” Sigala captioned the snippet. “My next single ‘You For Me’ with the insanely talented Rita Ora is dropping next Friday. It’s been a long time coming & we’re so so excited for you to hear this one!”

Rita also took to her social media to hype up her fans, hinting to a “summer banger” which is in collaboration with Sigala.

‘You For Me’ sees the ‘How We Do’ singer go back to her beginnings, since her breakthrough hit ‘Hot Right Now,’ was released in 2012 as a result of a collaboration with DJ Fresh.

In addition, this will be Sigala’s first new music in 2021. Last year, the DJ and James Arthur had their eighth Top 10 success with Lasting Love, including another Top 20 smash with Becky Hill with their track ‘Heaven On My Mind.’

‘You For Me’, however, will serve as the follow-up to Rita’s EP ‘Bang,’ as well as collaborations with David Guetta and Gunna.
